Power Only Dispatch
Power only is drop-and-hook freight with the broker's or shipper's trailer. It rewards tractors that stay moving, and it needs a dispatcher who knows which programs actually have trailers in your market.
No forced dispatch. You approve every load. No setup fee.

Freight we dispatch for power onlys
What moves on a power only, and where we find it.
Power-only freight concentrates in the programs that own trailers: Schneider FreightPower Power Only, J.B. Hunt Carrier 360, C.H. Robinson Navisphere Carrier, RXO Connect and Uber Freight, plus DAT One and Truckstop power-only postings.
Freight networks by equipment →Typical freight
- Drop-and-hook trailer moves from trailer-pool programs
- Dedicated power-only lanes and round trips
- Repositioning and relay freight
- Preloaded trailers from distribution centers
- Seasonal surge freight (retail peak, produce)
What ALBERJO does differently
- We state the trailer type, pool and interchange requirement on every offer
- Detention on drop-and-hook is tracked and followed up; it is a common leak
- We help you document trailer condition to avoid damage claims
- You approve every load
Nothing books until you approve. Figures are illustrative, not a rate promise.
Fit requirements
Is your power only a fit?
- Day cab or sleeper tractor with fifth wheel, air and electrical connections in good order
- Active USDOT/MC, or apply to the ALBERJO Authority Program
- Trailer interchange or non-owned trailer coverage (many programs require $50k+); confirm with your agent
- Willingness to inspect and document the trailer at pickup and drop (we tell you what to photograph)
- Clear home-time and lane preferences
Insurance figures are typical broker requirements, not ALBERJO rules; confirm limits with your agent. Not sure you qualify? Call or text 971-331-0402 and ask.

Power Only dispatch questions
Do I need my own trailer for power only?
No. Power only means you supply the tractor and driver; the broker or shipper supplies the trailer. You do need insurance that covers a trailer you do not own, usually trailer interchange or non-owned trailer coverage.
Are power only loads always drop-and-hook?
Most are, but some involve live loading or unloading. Every offer states which, along with the pickup and delivery windows, so you can decide.
How do you prevent fraud on power only loads?
We verify the broker's MC and standing before any load is offered, use only the platforms listed on our networks page and known broker relationships, and never book from unverified emails or texts. We also tell you what to document at pickup and drop.
What does power only dispatch cost?
10% of linehaul on loads we book under the own-authority program; you keep 90%. No setup fee, no monthly minimum, nothing charged on declined loads.
Put your power only to work with a dispatcher who knows it.
Apply in two minutes, or call a dispatcher now.
No setup fee. No forced dispatch. Not every applicant to the ALBERJO Authority Program will qualify.
