- Under 26,001 lbs GVWR no CDL is required; over that, a CDL is
- Active USDOT/MC or apply to the ALBERJO Authority Program
- Cargo and liability insurance that meets broker requirements ($100k cargo is common)
- Straps, load bars, blankets and a clean, dry box

Box Truck dispatch questions
Do I need a CDL for box truck dispatch?
Not if your truck is rated at 26,000 lbs GVWR or less. You still need operating authority or an approved carrier program, a USDOT number, a medical card and insurance that brokers accept. Over 26,001 lbs a CDL is required.
How much does a box truck dispatch service cost?
ALBERJO charges 10% of linehaul on loads we book under the own-authority program; you keep 90%. No setup fee, no monthly minimum. Detention, layover and TONU pass through to you.
Can I be my own box truck dispatcher?
Yes. Many owner-operators do. The trade-off is time: searching several boards, calling brokers, sending packets and chasing paperwork competes with driving hours. ALBERJO's 10% buys that desk time so the truck keeps moving.
Can you get Amazon Relay box truck loads?
Amazon Relay is a network we are activating and it is not shown as an active source until access is confirmed. We will tell you exactly which sources are active for your equipment during your call.
What if I have a new authority?
Some brokers require 30 to 90 days of authority; many box-truck sources do not. We set your packets up with the ones that work with new authorities first.
